Karen Millen shoes along with apparel is a design line that was founded in 1981 by Kevin Stanford and Karen Millen.  In 1983, the first Karen Millen store opened.  In 2004, Karen Millen was bought by Mosaic Fashions, Ltd.  The Karen Millen studio is now run by Creative Director Gemma Metheringham, who oversees a team of 12 designers.  This team is solely responsible for the labels ready to wear, shoes, accessory, an lingerie collections.

The design studio introduces two main collections and two transitional collections each year.  Each collection is made of 8 stories that cover day, work, occasion, and weekend wear.  Each individual item is every collection is designed in the design house.

Karen Millen designs always take high end looks and a chic spin, allowing women to have fun, yet feminine clothing.  Each design focuses on beautiful fabrics and immaculate finishes.  No matter what the design or collection, the label continues its original core values and vision of well-made designs.  This is what makes Karen Millen designs so globally renowned.

Karen Millen designs have achieved global recognition in 20 countries with a total of 110 stores throughout those countries.  Future openings will include Moscow, New York, and Hong Kong to the already long list.

1. Karen Millen Mixed Stud Shoes

Karen Millens Classic Peeps have definitely earned their name.  These rounded peep toe pumps are made from black leather.  The top of the peep toe opening is detailed with a branded decorative buckle.  The back of the shoe has studded detailing.  These shoes have a 3 inch stiletto heel.  These pumps are simple enough to be worn every day, but they are detailed enough to wear for an evening out.

These sling backs are definitely something to look at closely.  They are made from a metallic leather that changes from black to dark blue depending on the angle you are looking at them.  They have an almond shaped peep toe with a bow detailing on top of the peep toe hole.  The heel and toe rest platform area have silver metallic contrasting detail.  These shoes have a 5 inch heel.
